From 2005 Russia celebrates new holiday ‘The day of people’s unity’.
At 4th of November 1612 the warriors of civilian resistance leaded by Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pojarsky successfully assault Kitay-gorod and free Moscow from Polish invaders and performed the perfect example of heroism and unity of all nations independently of decency, religion and social level.
Though, it is possible to say that ‘The day of people’s unity’ is absolutely not that new holiday but a return to an old tradition.
